KPIX Eyewitness News report from March 28th 1972 by Ed Arnow in Oakland, featuring an interview with Bobby Seale who explains that the Black Panther Party are distributing over 6000 free bags of groceries to the local community. Also includes views of Seale and others filling up bags with groceries.

Reminds me of when Jesus Christ fed the multitudes who came to hear him speak and were hungry afterwards.BPP displays love for the people.

Well what a wonderful way to spend those Food Stamps.

I think and belive this was a great thing to do for the community.

This was 1972..The socalled NBPP had nothing to do with this..or anything else..they are a phony organization that has "high jacked" the name of the real Black Panther Party

This charitable event took place in 1982 yet the Panthers still tout it on their site.  This was the first and last good deed performed by the NBPP.  Nice work, Dr. Shabazz and Co.
