Press Conference on Racial Polarization

KPIX Eyewitness News report from February 2nd 1973 by Bill Hillman, featuring a press conference in which an African American spokesman states the need for government to re-think it's commitment to desegregation. He states that otherwise: "I think the present ... attitude and cutback on support for programs for poor people and black people in this country is going to create increased chaos and frustration ... and will lead to a further polarization and breakdown in relations between black and white people."
