Peregrine Worsthorne on US Party Conventions

Worsthorne gives his impressions of US political conventions and the selection process for choosing Presidential and Vice Presidential nominees, commenting that: "It's very different from the kind of way we go about it. We choose our political leaders within the parliamentary party ... There's no public fuss or no commotion about it. It is really much more of a smoke filled room business in England than you have over here."
