KPIX Eyewitness news footage from January 6th, 1970 featuring a Black Panther Party demonstration in Los Angeles. Demonstrators carry signs that read "Unity Now!", "Fight Fascism" and "Free Huey" A cameraman can be seen filming the demonstration from a high rise building. A demonstrator speaks to the crowd using a megaphone to say, "the Black Panther Party is not separate from black people. The whole history of black people is not separate from the Black Panther Party; it's not separate from what's happening to the Black Panther Party, today, tomorrow, and yesterday."
