Thanks for being an amazing example of how our weaknesses can become our strengths and showing that through the atonement, we truly can forgive all men. :)  I love you so much Grandma.

Auntie April, you are amazing. You are an inspiration and I love you so much. I think more people in the world need to hear stories like this...even though bad things happen, people can persevere, be positive, and forgive.  You have helped so many others because this happened to you.

I was filled with so many emotions after I watched this video, and I'm still taking it all in.  Mom, you really have always been so strong, yet funny and optimistic, that I sometimes forget that this ever happened to you at  all.  This was very sobering to me.  I am very grateful for  the patience, love, and dedication you had (and continue to have) as you raised your daughters and cared for all your family and friends.

This is my Auntie April, who is an amazing woman, mother, grandmother, auntie, daughter, sister and wife. She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside and the strength and love she carries make her even more radiant! The footage of my grandmother seeming so calm is astonishing as well- I would have been a wreck! It goes to show the resilience possible in all of us. I'm so glad this has been preserved and is available to see 50 years later.

Wow, that is amazing footage of my Mother, Grandmother and Uncle. I wondered why Mom was able to smile so much after just being attacked and going through all that pain, but I realized that being able to go home and be with your family was in and of itself a miracle. I would've been smiling as well and what a beautiful smile my Mom has still. ;)

April is my mother. This footage, with my mom smiling and so positive, is a perfect example of what she teaches others about trials in their lives. Her life has been a shining star for me to follow.  She has used this attack to help many others in their life!  Wow, you are so beautiful.. haven't changed a bit!  What an amazing woman.  Love ya, mom.

In these clips April looks to beautiful and happy to be the victim of an attack.  April is still alive today.  She is my step-mother.  She is still alive and active.  She did not let this horrible attack stop her from living a full life.  I admire her for that...and because she loves my father!

I remember this as if it was yesterday!  I'm the little brother greeting April when she came home.  It is amazing to me that this footage has been preserved!  Thank you!
