About This Item
KPIX Eyewitness report from February 15th 1967 in San Francisco by Wanda Ramey featuring a visit to the Bayview Community Center. When Ramey expresses concern about poor lighting in the building one spokesman acknowledges the need for many repairs, which also include replacement doors and patching of gunshot holes, which were made by police firing into the building in September 1966, during the social uprising.
