Soul Syndicate for Black Youth (Haight Ashbury)
KRON News footage from August 25th 1967 featuring an interview with a spokesman for the Soul Syndicate for Black Youth, based out of the Haight Ashbury neighborhood. He explains there are already approximately 300 members and their goal is to try and raise enough money to provide them with the option of going to college and also to set up self-help programs in the Haight Ashbury, which will be self-run. Ends with silent views of members canvassing people for funds.
