KTVU News footage from September 1968 with reporter Claud Mann featuring scenes of defense lawyer William J. Murphy stating that his clients Richard V. Williams and Robert W. Farrell (formerly officers of the Oakland Police Department) are denying an accusation that on the same night they fired shots at the Black Panther Party HQ on Grove Street in Oakland, they also kidnapped and raped a woman. He explains his clients are being charged under a violation of penal code statute 246, with a complaint that they fired their weapons at an inhabited dwelling. Includes views of reporters and camera crews following Murphy around the courthouse.
