A special report by KRON-TV from 1979 which: "examines important social change, a glimpse of one of those most astonishing phenomenons of our time: gays and the San Francisco experiment." Includes segments about the political and economic power of San Francisco's gay citizenry and interviews with Dianne Feinstein, John Burton, Jerry Brown, Harvey Milk and Sally Gearhart (see 6:34-6:57).

Note that audio on the BetaSP master videotape cuts out after 10 minutes and the rest of this program is silent. These silent scenes include images of: nightlife; clubs; disco; the murder of Harvey Milk, an interview with Anita Bryant and the White Night Riots.
