O.J. Simpson promotes TreeSweet Juice

KPIX-TV Eyewitness news footage from March 8th 1978 featuring scenes of San Francisco 49ers footballer O.J. Simpson promoting TreeSweet company juice products, who are channeling special PE funds into San Francisco high schools. The slogan for this campaign is "Juice up your athletic fund." Simpson is shown at a press conference and is also interviewed, talking about his background and aspirations: "I was influenced by some very positive people early in my life. I believe I'm from a good family, we had a nice religious background. Basically I like people. You know, I've always felt the most important thing a person can do is the ability to communicate." He also reflects on the influence of politics in sports and his response to this. Ends with Simpson admitting that he'd really like a shot at the NFL Super Bowl title.
