The Beringer family sold the name and winery to Nestlé in 1971 and the property is undergoing significant redevelopment. Includes an interview with Peter Mondavi, Sr. who objects to the way in which the redevelopment is being handled and also with a spokesperson for Beringer, who denies they are proceeding with a disregard for Napa Valley traditions.
