About This Item
Edited and incomplete film elements from a KRON-TV Assignment Four program called Project Manong, which aired on Ch.4 in the 1970s. Includes interviews and location footage featuring elderly Filipino men and a youth group organization, which is trying to help their elders with housing issues in Oakland. Ends with excerpts of magentic audio recordings made for this production. We have been unable to find any more film elements from this production or a complete film print as yet. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
