George and Georgia Bea Jackson on the death of Jonathan Jackson
KRON-TV Newswatch footage from August 12th 1970 featuring scenes from a press conference with Georgia Bea Jackson, who comments on her son Jonathan Jackson's state of mind before he and three other people were killed on August 7th at the Marin County Civic Center in San Rafael, California. In referring to legal treatment of the Soledad Brothers - one of whom is also her son George Jackson - she states: "How could anyone who's sat in that courtroom think that anybody would get justice … not if you're black and poor."
