KTVU News footage from December 28th 1967 featuring scenes from an interview with Rob Reiner and Larry Bishop at a nightclub in North Beach, San Francisco (possibly the hungry i club). They discuss their career aspirations and Reiner explains: "Larry wants to be an actor, primarily in films and I want to be a writer and a director." When the reporter asks them: "What do your parents think of your showbusiness endeavors?" Reiner replies: "My father [Carl Reiner] approves ... basically becuase it's what I like" and Bishop says: "My father [Joey Bishop], he really doesn't dig it too much ... I'm sure he'd like me to go into a different profession because of his experiences." Both men became notable actors, writers and directors. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
