About This Item
Raw KRON-TV news footage from March 22nd 1999 featuring scenes from an interview with TV journalist Rollin Post (1930-2011). The discussion focuses mainly on his long-term working relationship with fellow Bay Area TV journalist Belva Davis, who has recently announced her "semi-retirement" from television. Post expresses his great respect and affection for Davis and recalls many episodes from their careers, as they each moved from local TV stations KPIX, to KQED and then over to KRON. Post retired as KRON's political editor in 1997. It should be noted that Davis didn't officially retire until 2012. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
