An episode of KTVU's Saturday Night Special program from June 13th 1984 written and produced by Johnny Barnes Selvin examining recommendations in The Breed Report, which was completed in December 1983 and provides analysis of the management of San Francisco's Juvenile Hall. Includes views of Juvenile Hall and interviews with: Jean Jacobs (President of Coleman Children and Youth Services); Judge Daniel Hanlon (presiding judge for San Francisco's Juvenile Court); Joseph Botka (Chief Juvenile Probation Officer); Allen Breed (co-author of The Breed Report); Robert Smith (co-author of The Breed Report); Mark James (Senior Counselor); Robert Foote (Superintendent); Libby Denebeim (San Francisco's Board of Education) and several detainees.
