KRON-TV news footage from c1957 featuring brief, silent views of a KRON camera team working in the field at the newly opened Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey County, CA. Includes scenes of the crew working and a point of view drive around part of the raceway. This film was passed to us in August 2016 by KRON cameraman and lighting director George C. Larsen, who worked at KRON from 1957 to 1986. Note that at 98 years old he is currently one of the last veteran survivors from Northern California of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, in 1941.
