Bill Cosby Speech at the San Francisco Hilton

KRON-TV News footage from May 9th 1968 featuring scenes from a speech by comedian and actor Bill Cosby at the San Francisco Hilton Hotel. He reflects on attitudes to non-violence and civil rights, proposing that: "It has come to the point now wherein black people have to go out and burn up the neighborhood in order to get the community to see what's going on."
