Nancy Reagan On Evangelism And The Presidency

KTVU News footage from November 28th 1967 with Claud Mann featuring scenes of an interview with Nancy Reagan (1921-2016) in which she reflects on how young people are searching for an appropriate way to express their idealism and how older generations should maintain standards to set an example. Mann also asks: "Have you ever thought about what it would be like to be the wife of a President?" Her initial reaction is to flatly deny this: "No, no." Reagan then goes onto to clarify: "I've never thought about it ... Our plans don't go in that direction."
