Bayview Hunters Point Uprising, 9/30/66 - KNTV Shot Logs

Selections from the KNTV newsfilm shot logs produced on September 30th 1966, relating to the Bayview Hunters Point social uprising in San Francisco. Includes bulletins covering the actions of National Guard from San Jose and how the city is taking stock of the causes of this civil unrest. One of the bulletins states that: "A group of San Francisco employers pledged this afternoon to produce 2-thousand jobs as quickly as possible for negroes in the riot-swept Hunters Point and Fillmore areas." Note that KNTV was an ABC affiliate in 1966.
