KPIX News footage from December 24th 1971 featuring an interview with their former weatherman Leon Hunsaker, who is now teaching meteorology classes at Sonoma State University. Hunsaker jokes around with the reporter but also shares his conviction that: "If you're really going to do a good job in something you've got to be in it and got to be part of it and you've got to live it. And … weather's my life … It's my life, it really is. I made that decision about 5 or 6 years ago, when I was still at PG&E." Ends with silent views of Hunsaker's family watching him being interviewed. It should be noted that Hunsaker returned to being a TV (and then radio) weatherman and only finally retired in 2009, at the age of 86. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
