It’s important I clarify what I said in the film, especially now that the fakers themselves are complaining about fake news.When that film was made CH-2 news was only a few years old. I shot news for another 20 or so years and during that time the 10 o’Clock News evolved into the most respected news show in northern California. Betty Ann joined the team and added investigative reporting to what our show offered. Her stories ran as long as needed, sometimes for an entire segment, and I shot many of them. CH-2 became the first superstation in the country, viewable everywhere via satellite. A few years after that film of me was made I would not have described how stories and the show in general was produced the same way. I am proud to have been part of that team. During the 2017 Northbay Firestorm CH-2 was the go-to TV news source for the north bay. They had the most comprehensive coverage.

I'm amazed to see this again. I enjoyed working with the producer, Gene Pepi. He made this film for his class work at SF State. I wonder how KTVU acquired the copyright. It was not aired as far as I know. Does anyone know what happened to Gene?
