Simpson running out onto the field for his last professional football game representing the San Francisco 49ers, against the Atlanta Falcons (the 49ers lost 31-21). Also includes views of Simpson and his teammates watching a movie he appears in during the flight to Atlanta and Simpson's last word at a press conference as a player: "I don't have to anticipate it being over any more, it's over! And it's been nice." Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
This 16mm color reversal film print was re-scanned in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in April 2024.
