A dinner date with the Shah of Iran (1958)

KPIX news footage from June 24th 1958 featuring an interview with a Norwegian woman who just had a dinner date with the recently divorced Shah of Iran Muhammad Reza Pahlavi, after meeting him on a flight from Tokyo to Honolulu. She shares her impressions of the Shah (explaining "I tried to avoid using his Majesty") and deflects speculation on whether or not they will meet again, whilst he's in San Francisco. Ends with silent views of her playing with a big cat cub (perhaps a gift from the Shah?).
