Celebrating MUNI's 66th Birthday (1978)

KPIX news footage from December 28th 1978 featuring with Don Knapp featuring scenes from employees and others celebrating the 66th anniversary of San Francisco's Municipal Railway (or MUNI). Includes views of Mayor Dianne Feinstein presenting Oreal Parker with MUNI's most courteous driver of the month award. Knapp's commentary also reminds viewers they should be thankful for MUNI's relative frequency of service, some of the lowest fares in the nation and the fact that 299 other MUNI drivers have already received the most courteous driver of the month award, since it was established.
