KPIX-TV news footage from October 30th 1970 featuring brief scenes from a press conference with Coretta Scott King, who is endorsing the campaign of Ron Dellums for California's 7th Congressional district seat in the House of Representatives. Scott King asks citizens to honor the memory of her late husband the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by exercising their right to vote on election day. Dellums went on to win and served in Congress for the next 27 years. Note there are audio issues with the magnetic soundtrack which had significant warpage, causing sound distortion.
