Assembly Bill 3825: California Civil Rights Restoration Act 1992 (Updated over a year ago)

Footage of testimony given by victims of harassment and discrimination, including sexual harassment, gender discrimination, housing discrimination, sex-base discrimination, and discrimination against people with disabilities, in support of Assembly Bill 3825, the Civil Rights Restoration Act (1992), authored by Speaker Brown with the intention of restoring and strengthening the Unruh Civil Rights Act, which outlaws discrimination based on sex, race, religion, national origin, age, disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, or sexual orientation. AB 3825 would also conform California Law with federal fair housing law and ban the requirement for employees to speak English only in the workplace.
