KRON-TV news footage from November 27th 1971 with Frank Johnstone featuring a visit to the Great Dickens Christmas Fair in San Francisco. Co-founded in 1970 by Phyllis and Ron Patterson, who also co-created the Renaissance Faire concept in America, the Dickens Fair is still owned by the Patterson family and will be held in 2018 from November 17th to December 23rd, at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. Includes views of fair goers and performers enjoying themselves at the wharfeside complex, near Fisherman's Wharf. Ends with shots of a man playing a dulcimer.
