Above the Bay

A special report from November 23rd 1989 presented by Doug McConnell, featuring extended aerial views of the San Francisco Bay Area, shot from a helicopter flown by Commodore Helicopters of Sausalito. Includes aerial shots of: Mount Diablo; Golden Gate Bridge; the Bay Bridge; ferries; freeway traffic; Sutro Tower; the Transamerica Pyramid; BART; San Francisco Airport; the Navy Blue Angels; the Napa Valley; Oakland's Sentimental Journeys flying tours over the Bay on a DC-3 airliner; Blackhawk in Contra Costa County; the Altamont Pass; Fremont; Sausalito, Belvedere, Tiburon and San Rafael in Marin County and an advertisement for Entertainment Weekly magazine. This program was produced and directed by Tom Stewart. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
