A KPIX-TV Evening Magazine segment from 1986 featuring scenes of presenter Richard Hart foraging for food with guide Rod Steinert and Aborigine tribal members in the Australian Bush, (possibly near Alice Springs). Includes views of Aboriginal Australians demonstrating aspects of their traditional hunter-gatherer culture including catching, cooking and eating a Goanna monitor lizard, a skink and witchetty grubs. Hart samples everything on offer with Steinert, if not always with obvious relish.

Note: although this segment is preserved on a BetaSP videotape, it was probably dubbed from a 3/4-inch umatic tape source.
