Del Valle discusses her co-starring role in director Marta Balletbò-Coll's 'Costa Brava' (1995), the reasons why she prefers to work within independent cinema and how this festival enables filmmakers to present more diverse images of lesbian characters on-screen, also providing a degree of public recognition for their work.
