KRON-TV news footage from March 15th 1971 featuring scenes from San Francisco International Airport where journalist and Vietnam anti-war activist David Harris is arriving with his wife Joan Baez and son Gabriel. Harris was just released from La Tuna correctional facility in El Paso, TX where he finished serving out 20 months prison time for draft evasion. Includes views of Harris greeting his Samoyed Moondog and speaking about his plans and unchanged position on the Vietnam War at a press conference: "We're going to have to recognize there's one and there's only one way the butchery that's going on in South East Asia is gonna stop. And that's when the people who support that butchery won't support it anymore." Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
