KPIX-TV news footage from May 9th 1973 with reporter Rollin Post featuring Founding Chairman and national organizer of the Black Panther Party Bobby Seale mayoral campaign in Oakland's runoff election, against incumbent John Reading. There are scenes of Seale speaking to a sociology class at the College of Alameda about his efforts to connect with white voters, to senior citizens at a local church about educating the police force and with Post about continuing to work with the community after this election. Also includes views of Seale's campaign headquarters and other offices.
