Dispute Between Anton LaVey And Neighbors Over Pet Lion

KPIX-TV news footage from March 14th 1967 featuring scenes from a press conference with occultist Anton LaVey who lives at 6114 California Street in the Richmond District and also with two of his neighbors. His pet lion Togare is allegedly creating a rumpus at night and LaVey is facing charges of distubing the peace. LaVey emphasizes that his family loves Togare and don't want to give him up soley on "heresay" and his neighbors claim they don't object to LaVey's satanism, just to the noise from Togare. Also includes glimpses of LaVey's attorney Terry Hallinan and ends with silent views of LaVey playing with Togare in a cage and stood with this family. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
