KPIX-TV news footage from May 12th 1967 featuring brief, silent scenes of occultist Anton LaVey (1930-1997) and his attorney Terry Hallinan outside (and inside) a San Francisco municipal courtroom. Judge Donald B. Constine had found LaVey guilty of misdemeanour last month, for disturbing the peace at his 6114 California Street address in the Richmond District with noise from his pet lion Togare. LaVey was fined $50 today and also given a 90 day suspended sentence, with one year probation. Note that there is KRON-TV color/sound coverage of this in KRON 263-12.
