KRON-TV news footage from April 27th 1965 which opens with brief, silent views outside the off broadway topless club in North Beach, followed by a glimpse of topless dancer Carol Doda posing for a photgrapher inside on-stage (fully clothed). Attorney Melvin Belli is interviewed in the club by reporter Art Brown and claims that it isn't Mayor Shelley who's behind the recent crackdown on topless entertainment in North Beach. He exclaims that: "We've got the cleanest, nicest area up here in the North Beach in the whole United States!" and wants to know exactly whom in San Francisco has elected to act as: "The Führer of our morals." He continues: "I'd like to know who this nameless one is who tells us that we're going to fold San Francisco up so it's gonna be like a place like Dallas, where they have guinea hens and grass in the street!" Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
