A TV Archive production featuring an interview with television producer Lee Mendelson, shot on January 26th 2012. Mendelson talks about his work as writer, producer and director on KPIX-TV's Peabody Award winning San Francisco Pageant series, focussing on the making of: 'Disaster at Dawn'; 'The Innocent Fair'; The Bridge Builders and 'The Enchanted Hill' between 1961-1963. He also discusses forming his own production company and making the documentary film 'Bay of Gold' in 1965 and collaborating with filmmakers from San Francisco State University. The interview was conducted by Caroline Dijckmeester-Bins, with Mark David on sound, camera and editing and Alex Cherian as producer. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
