KPIX-TV b&w news footage from 1962 featuring silent views from KPIX studio's in-house film library at 2655 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco (now occupied by Shamrock Real Estate Co.). Includes scenes of Ralph Sandino and others working on 16mm film reels and goofing around for the camera. Note that Ch.5 moved into their purpose built Van Ness location shown here in 1952 and then relocated to their current Battery Street premises in 1979. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
