Elizabeth Taylor & Eddie Fisher arrive in New York

KPIX-TV news footage from March 27 1961 featuring brief scenes of actress Elizabeth Taylor (1932-2011) and 4th husband singer Eddie Fisher arriving at New York International Airport on TWA flight 701 from London. Includes views of Taylor being carried by three flight attendants down the aircraft steps in a wheelchair and of her and Eddie Fisher waiting to get into a limousine. Taylor was recovering from a serious bout of staphylococcus pneumonia, which nearly killed her and for which she was treated at a private clinic in London.
