KPIX-TV Special Report on Nixon's 1968 Presidential Campaign

KPIX-TV special report footage from the fall of 1968 with reporter Rollin Post featuring a review of Republican Presidential candidate Richard Nixon's campaign in Northern California, of which Post declares: "Probably no campaign has been better organized or more carefully programmed than has Nixon's run for the Presidency in 1968. California is considered key to his victory." Includes views of: Nixon and his family arriving at an airport; of Nixon and his wife Pat Nixon waving to crowds on a motorcade through San Francisco's financial district; part of a speech by Nixon at the Fresno Convention Center, in which he states: "Unless the farmer is prosperous, the farmworker will not be prosperous" and pledges his oppposition to farm boycotts by workers and of large crowds cheering at the convention center, chanting: "We want Nixon!". Ends with a to-camera summary by Post, who explains he will go onto look at the Democratic candidate Hubert Humphrey's campaign in his next report. We haven't located that footage as of yet.
