Jackie Collins talks about 'The World is Full of Married Men' (1969)

KTVU news footage from October 2 1969 with reporter Gary E. Park featuring scenes from an interview with English novelist Jackie Collins, who talks about her debut novel 'The World is Full of Married Men' on the sidewalk at a cafe in San Francisco. Collins explains that: "It's really a study of a cheating married man, of which there are so many" and goes on to clarify how: "It's not a dirty book. There is a great difference between a dirty book and a sexy book. And this is a sexy book." When Park asks if the book is autobiographical Collins emphasizes that it isn't and specifies how she's nothing like the character of Claudia Parker. Ends with Collins outlining her forthcoming second novel - which is called 'The Stud' - and with silent shots of Collins and Park talking at the cafe. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
