KPIX-TV news footage from Feburary 16 1968 featuring brief views of civil rights activist and organizer Stokely Carmichael arriving at San Francisco airport to be greeted by Eldridge Cleaver and other members of the Black Panther Party. Carmichael is taking part in a rally being organized to support the Huey P. Newton Defence Fund. See film ID number KPIX 34659 which was shot later on this day, featuring scenes of Carmichael visiting Huey P. Newton in Oakland. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
