Newsfilm footage from the KPIX-TV Collection from March 5 1961 featuring views of actress Marilyn Monroe leaving Columbia University's Presbyterian Medial Center in Manhattan, after staying there for several weeks. Monroe had been convalescing here since February 11 and there is a big crush of press and onlookers, as she is escorted by police to a waiting car. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
