KPIX-TV news footage from May 25 1974 featuring brief scenes of women volunteer firefighters training, possibly from the Dry Creek-Loyoka Volunteer Fire Department, in Napa CA. Also includes an interview with a spokeswomen, who explains: "There was a need and so we filled the need. The men were gone during the day. And the fires would break out so fast ... and the women decided that they could learn to drive and learn to man 'em and that we would take over in the daytime ... and on weekends and nights and we assist."
