KPIX-TV news footage from September 1st 1970 with reporter Ron Magers featuring scenes from Sesame Street's first ever Cast Tour, which ran from August 31 to September 14 to promote the second season. This 40-minute live show - seen here in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park - featured the Sesame Street characters: Gordon (Matt Robinson); Susan (Loretta Long); Bob (Bob McGrath); Mr. Hooper (Will Lee) and Big Bird (played by Danny Seagren). Includes views of the cast performing onstage for large crowds and close ups of the audience. Coverage of the same event can be viewed on our film ID number KRON 2476-13.
