KPIX-TV news footage from December 6 1971 with reporter Ed Arnow featuring scenes from San Francisco City Hall where Judge Charles S. Peery heard closing testimony from attorneys for street artists and those opposed to them having access to peddlers permits in the city. Judge Peery is to rule on an injunction from October 22 which prevented police from interfering with street artists selling their wares on the sidewalk. Includes views of street artists selling items around Union Square and interviews with opposing council in City Hall (Bob Kantor and another attorney). Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.

Note: this 16mm reversal film print was transferred in 4K (4096x2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in March 2022.
