Interviews with Jim Dunbar and Bryan Hartnell outside KGO
About This Item
KRON-TV news footage from October 23 1969 with reporter Dave Valentine featuring brief scenes from an interview with radio and TV broadcaster Jim Dunbar, who confirms that a man who called into his KGO A.M. San Francisco program yesterday claiming to be the Zodiac killer did not show up for a meeting the next day at the "St. Vincent and Paul Society Lofts" on Mission Street in Daly City. Dunbar also states that although he can't confirm if this caller was actually the Zodiac, he feels this individual certainly had "a pretty serious problem." Also features views of Zodiac survivor Bryan Hartnell getting into a taxi and telling Valentine (who calls Hartnell "Bruce") that he isn't sure if the A.M. San Francisco caller's voice belonged to the man who attacked him at Lake Berryessa. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
