KTVU news footage from January 26 1968 with reporter Carlton Cordell featuring scenes from a large protest rally at UC Berkeley's Sproul Plaza, with views of Black Panthers Founding Chairman Bobby Seale speaking. Political activist Bettina Aptheker is interviewed and rejects the idea that students arrested for protesting the Vietnam draft were guilty of "conspiracy." Also includes views of protestors picketing outside the Alameda County Courthouse and an interview with attorney Charles Garry who discusses their motion objecting to the composition of a grand jury which indicted Huey P. This 16mm film print was remastered in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in July 2022.
