Topless dancers object to joining culinary workers union

KPIX-TV news footage from March 12, 1975 with reporter Rita Trevino featuring scenes from a press conference held on Broadway by topless dancers, waitresses, and bartenders in North Beach. Trevino comments: "They say they want no part of the culinary workers union" and deny they are forced to work under adverse conditions. Spokeswoman Lolita Rios states: "The whole accusation is just absolutely ridiculous! This is not one truth to it, at all. It's just a big liar!" Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
This 16mm reversal film print was transferred in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in September 2022.
