KPIX-TV news footage from August 24, 1975 with reporter David Fowler on a Synanon drug rehabilitation ranch (now Walker Creek Ranch) near the town of Marshall in Marin County, where many Synanon married couples are re-affirming their wedding vows. Includes views of the Synanon boot camp drill team marching, of the Synanon "jumpers" exercising and part of a speech by the Reverend C. Mason (Dede Harvey). Note that Fowler refers to 101 couples taking part but the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper stated there were 109 couples. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
This 16mm reversal film print was transferred in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in January 2023.
